Spectrum Health Medical Group's experienced providers treat all phases of sports injuries, from shoulder problems to complex knee-ligament reconstruction. Our services include in-depth evaluations by providers who will carefully and completely diagnose each patient, explain the diagnosis and recommend appropriate therapies. We ensure that all sports-related injuries are evaluated within 24-48 hours from the time we are notified. We provide on-site x-rays and injections and have direct access to MRI imaging and physical therapy services.
James Lebolt, DO
Spectrum Health Medical Group is pleased to announce the arrival of James Lebolt, DO, a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, who worked under Dr. James Andrews of the American Sports Medicine Institute in Alabama. Dr. Andrews is a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of sports-related injuries, having cared for some of the greatest athletes in professional sports. Dr. Lebolt's primary areas of focus will be injuries to the shoulder, elbow and knee.

James R. Lebolt, DO, earned his undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Dr. Lebolt completed his internship at Michigan State University, Ingham Regional Medical Center, and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Michigan State University, Ingham Orthopaedic Hospital, in East Lansing, Michigan.
